Aversive Equipment Policy
I understand and acknowledge that CHPS will not use adverse equipment, such as choke chains, prong/pinch collars and electric shock collars because it enforces pain to the animal and will ruin a bond CHPS is trying to make with my pet. Studies have shown these types of equipment can causes aggression and create a safety issue for CHPS pet sitters. If I have used this type equipment on my own or with a trainer prior to hiring CHPS, CHPS has the right to request I go to an approved pet behaviorist of CHPS' choice before services are started to deem my pet safe. I understand that if I decide to hire a professional trainer or pet sitter that was not referred by CHPS, and uses this type of equipment on my pet, CHPS may decline to provide services or will no longer provide services in the future.

COVID-19 Policy
Due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, we will be taking all necessary precautions and following CDC recommended hygiene guidelines.

We will be: wearing disposable gloves -which are changed between appointments - wearing homemade masks that are sanitized between appointments, or wearing disposable masks that are changed between appointments, washing or sanitizing our hands in between clients, carrying cleaning wipes for doorknobs and hard surfaces.

As always, if you are exhibiting symptoms of acute respiratory illness such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or breathing difficulties make us aware immediately so we can take the necessary precautions. We appreciate your assistance in keeping our team healthy so we can continue to care for your pets.
